When Barrie came to Powell River, he wanted a combination of a part-time emergency practice and full-service family practice. He was able to do that here, amongst a collegial group of physicians, and felt really welcomed. He started with a plan to stay one or two years, and as his family grew, he realized that Powell River provided the quality of life they wanted.
Professional speaking, it has been a really rewarding place to practice. we can spend a little bit more time with our kids, spend a little more time with our families, and for me that’s the quality of life that we wanted.
